The IO HAWK 2M comes with all-season tires.

We recommend washing the IO HAWK 2M by hand. The manufacturer has not tested the use of a washing machine and advises against it. We do not yet have any approval from the manufacturer for cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner.

The version with a key has a mechanical steering wheel lock. The version with the PEPS system (keyless start) does not have a mechanical steering wheel lock.

The 2M includes two keys. In case of loss of the keys, please contact our support at order@iohawk.de. We will discuss with you the appropriate replacement procedure for your vehicle model. For vehicles with a PEPS system, according to the manufacturer, a replacement key can also be re-programmed if both keys are lost.

For the IO HAWK 2M you need the Classic driver's license class B or a corresponding valid driver's license. A Class AM driver's license alone is not sufficient for the 2M of the L7e vehicle class.

With the classic driving license class B, you may basically drive the IO HAWK 2M starting at the age of 18. Under the supervised driving program starting at 17, the corresponding legal requirements and the required supervision apply.

The IO HAWK 2M vehicle class L7e requires a registration with an official license plate and motor vehicle liability insurance. For registration, we will provide you with the CoC document. Your insurance provider will provide you with the required electronic insurance confirmation (eVB number). The purely electric IO HAWK 2M is eligible for initial registration until December 31st, 2030 a vehicle tax exemption of up to ten years, but no longer than until the end of December 31st, 2035.

You are allowed to inspect the vehicle to the extent necessary regarding its condition, characteristics, and functionality. If the use goes beyond this and a loss in value results, reimbursement may be due under the legal requirements. We do not offer an additional free 14-day vehicle usage.
